Do I have to pay to create an account?

No. Creating an account is free. You only pay when you enrol in a course.

How much does the course cost?

A one-time enrolment fee of US$5, then US$7 for each exam you sit. You pay for each exam only when you are ready to take it.

How do I pay?

Each payment button lets you choose PayPal or a debit or credit card. If PayPal does not work in your country, choose the card option.

How do I unlock an exam?

Under each subject there is an item called Pay for this exam (US$7). Press the Pay now button in it and choose card or PayPal. When the payment is complete, the exam just below opens. If the exam still looks locked, reload the page.

How many times can I sit an exam?

You have more than one attempt. The number of attempts and the pass mark are shown at the top of each exam, and your highest mark is the one that counts.

Do I have to study the subjects in order?

No, but we recommend it. The document Order to study Harvestime courses on the home page shows the suggested order.

Is there a time limit?

No. You can study at whatever pace suits you.

Can I study on my phone?

Yes. Install the free Moodle app from the Play Store or App Store, enter harvestimeinstitute.org as the site address, then log in with your username and password.

A textbook will not download. What can I do?

Download one subject at a time from inside the course rather than the large zip file of all textbooks. Each subject's file is much smaller and less likely to fail on a slow or expensive connection.
